Recalling Boston
I realized that in all of the craziness of the past couple weeks, I never posted any Boston pictures. With the events of last night, I’m going to focus on happier things and post a few pictures from a really wonderful trip.
Here’s my handsome fiance enjoying a traditional Boston breakfast. I have never seen more Dunkin Donuts in my entire life than when I was in Boston. I would venture to say that there’s even more DDs than Starbucks up there.
The T (the Boston Subway) has a mascot named Charlie. Charlie shows people where to go in the T stations. I kind of wish that Metro had a mascot although at this point the mascot would probably have to be a beat up man or something.
Here’s the waterfront at the harbor (or the hah-bahr as the locals say it). The big clocktower used to mark the water line. The water was actually behind me as I was taking this picture so you can see how much the water front had been built up.
Here’s us at the waterfront. I love this picture!I’ll have to see if I can pilfer some of the Architect’s pictures from the whale watching trip…

That last picture is a very good shot of you two
We went to Boston this past summer. I was searching diligently for someone with a Brahmin accent. Could not find one.
haha yeah. too much dunkin donuts I agree :/ everybody loves coffee waaay too much.
Love the pictures. Thank you for posting them Meg. You are a handsome couple.
Sweet pictures! You both look so happy and relaxed in the last one. Nice looking couple!
What an adorable picture of the two of you! Thanks for sharing the Boston pics and, sure, go ahead and pilfer some whale watching pictures while you’re at it.
Love that last shot. You two really look like you fit well together.
PS – Thanks for the awesome homemade gifts! I love both the necklace and the bookmark. Forgive me for not posting immediately…I’m working on some photo projects that are taking all my time and priority (wedding album for the wedding I was the photographer in) and so setting up the camera and such is going to have to wait a few days. But THANK YOU. Love them.
@chooseme00 - Welcome to Xanga!
@WakeUpLaughing - @Roadlesstaken -@ZSA_MD - @endlesssummer128 - @christao408 - Thank you! I love this picture of us. It captures our goofiness
@PeriwinkleAdonis - I haven’t heard Brahmin (must meet a Kennedy should be on my to-do list) before but I did find a lot of people with the typical Boston accent. It’s not as posh as the Brahmin accent but still cool.
@LetheOfHeaven - I would probably love coffee even more if I lived up there. I have never been colder in my entire life than when I visited Boston in the winter.
@BigToePeople - Yay! I’m so glad that you like them
