- About Me: Found in the wilds of the District of Columbia, one can observe the elusive TheCheshireGrins feasting on coffee, mentally feasting on books, and riding the metro. TheCheshireGrins originates in the wild, wild west but habitually is stationed around the beltway. TheCheshireGrins thrives on politics, conversation, and travel. - Favorite Albums: Abbey Road by The Beatles, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club, London Calling by the Clash, Crash by the Dave Matthews Band, the Smith's greatest hits and 11:11 by Regina Spektor (although I'm really happy about listening to anything by her).
- Favorite Genre: Rock, Classic Rock, Alternative, Eighties
- Favorite Songs: Too many. Some include Stairway to Heaven by Led Zep, Nothing Compares 2 U by Sinead O'Connor, Last Goodbye by Jeff Buckley, Buildings by Regina Spektor, Frankfurt, Baobabs by the same, Fool to Think by Dave Matthews, Crash by the same.
- Favorite Lyrics: I love lyrics. I used to be in the habit of writing them down in my journal. There's too many good ones out there to only pick a few.
- Songs for Roadtrips: Good acoustic music or Sublime suits me fine as well.
- Songs I hate: Ballads filled with more cheese than a double stuffed calzone
- Guilty Pleasure: Eh, I like all of the music that I like and I'm not guilty about any of it.
- Songs I repeat the most: Any of my favorites
Travel
- Places I love: DC, Boston, San Francisco, Mexico
- Places I've been: I've been to pretty much every state in the contiguous United States. As far as countries go, I've been to Aruba, Canada, the Grand Cayman Islands, Haiti, Jamaica, and Mexico. I plan to travel a lot in the near future.
- Places to see before I die: What's not to see? I think the only places that I have no desire to visit are any of the Stans... maybe Pakistan and maybe Afghanistan if it ever gets stabilized.
- Dream Vacation: Any vacation would sound good to me right about now but I would love to go to tour South America and hit places like Montevideo, Rio, Buenos Aires, and Santiago.

- Nationality: Irish, Polish, Ukranian, Scottish mostly... I'm pretty much from any pale European country.
- Religion: I believe in being a good person. I was raised Catholic but am more into meditation these days.
- Heroes: Colin Powell, Madeline Albright, Jackie Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe
- Interests: Politics, caffeination, friends, family, fluffy animals, traveling, copious amounts of music, the fantastic Boston Red Sox, DC, the DC metro... so on and so forth.
